The problem
It all started with these guys...
They worked at the same company and played tennis at lunch times. It was fun, but no-one was really getting any better. The beginners were running around fetching stray balls, and the good players were stagnating (can you guess who’s who from the photo?!)
Current offerings came up short
That's when Chris started investigating ball machines to help people improve. He wasn’t that impressed with what he saw. He found most of them were bulky, weighing up to 15kg, and running on 1980s tech.
Redesigning from scratch
Using what Chris and Josh had learnt from years together designing robots, they thought there had to be a better way. Their mission - to make a machine that could challenge advanced players with blistering baseline rallies, whilst consistently feed easier balls to the beginners. All while being small enough to fit in a rucksack.
After many months of work and countless prototypes - they think they've done it!
